Why is it a girl color? I honestly don't get it. It's just a color! And people hate it because it's a girly/preppy/whatever color. You know what I think? Shut up, it's a color. You either like it or you don't. You don't have to love black if you're emo and love pink if you're a girly girl. How about you like what you actually like? You don't have to hang out with the people who have good close and spend all their time gossiping if you're girly. You don't have to wear extreme amounts of eyeliner and dye your hair black if you don't fit in. Why the hell can't people be themselves? If you like a song, listen to it. If you like a shirt, wear it. Screw everyone else. How is that so hard?
One of my friends has started hanging out with the emo-ish group in my school. It's fine, she still talks to me, but a lot of my friends don't like her because she's loud. And yeah, she's loud and a little annoying, but that's not a reason to talk crap about her all the time. Anyway, I don't know why she's hanging out with them. They're losers and brats. Well, most of them. I like a couple of them. But the rest are japophiles, twilight obsessors, or just plain annoying. Or they think they're emo even though they're clearly not depressed and are only acting that way because they have something against being cool. The only reason anyone is cool is because they're fun to talk to. You can 100% be yourself and be cool. I'm part of that crowd, and I am totally happy. I look forward to seeing all of my friends, I don't dislike any of them. I only do what I like and I love it.
